Which Events Are Lacking Good Hardware?

I might as well go out on a limb and say pyraminx. While Yes, we have excellent pyraminxes like the Xman Bell and Moyu Magnetic, I feel both have locking issues and catches. we are kind of in a position of which those two are like zhanchis. Once regarded as a cube that would never be outdone performance wise albeit with clear issues. But as we learned, there were clear improvements that we couldve made that definitely bumped up performance (I did a mod on my qiming that actually gave it better cutting than my bell, though the feeling didn't change)

I am hardly a pyraminx expert but I sort of agree with you. Personally, I think the Cyclone Boys Meichi is the best pyra on the market but even it could use some minor improvements.

Where I'd *REALLY* like to see improvement is in a non-WCA puzzle - the master pyraminx. The ones we have desperately need to be upgraded to using ball bearings or magnets and just generally being...better.

If we're expanding to non-WCA puzzles, I'd like to add nonpropotional (cubic) 3x3x5's. The only one there is is the C4U, and it uses an original Rubik's Brand-style design and has popping problems unless it's tight, but then it's catchy and locks up.
