Where is the best place?

Hey guys. Where is the best place to buy a DIY cube and what kind is the best to get. and Also what are the best lubrication methods? what are some other things to make cubes slide easier?

Try searching before making new threads and you should also check out the wiki for info about lubrication. I would buy an F-II or an old type A from cube4you. And i would use crc for lubrication.

Where to buy cubes is really debatable, popbuying and cube4you are good for bigger orders, but if you just want one or two cubes might be able to get form someones shop for cheaper.

As for lubing honestly i just spray it in with CRC and just twist all the sides till it dry, I've tried laying out and spraying and let dry but i don't see a difference.

Also for what kind of DIY you should get thats really a heated debate. Honestly I got a C4U DIY for my first one, and it did what I needed it too. But people have mix reviews of different cubes, based on how lucky they were and there preference, but I guess you could look into the AV, FII, old type AII, or some others.

Could you just give me a link to a good cube to buy? Sorry, I haven't gotten one before and I have no idea what the heck is the difference between AV, FII, or AII. lol sorry if that makes me lame
