Whats Wrong With Me?

I decided to learn cll today so I memorized all the sune cases. Its a little harder to memorize then pll so I've spent quit a while on some of them today. Maybe like an hour to memorize them all with all their paterns and such and then I realized. I can study algorithms for an hour but for school I didn't study for over an hour on all of my exams combined and I'm in highschool. I think this could be a problem and I have no idea what to do.

It is more fun but like I have a 2.5 GPA and my only grades that aren't a C are in chorus and in algebra 1 which i took last year

Geez, and I thought my 3.xy was bad.

Do what I do. I shove all of my cubes in a box, and put the box in my dad's closet from Monday to Friday. Cube on the weekends.

Seriously, just ditch the cubes. Because when you are applying to college, it's gonna be a lot more impressive if your grades are good than if you can do some bar trick.

It's human nature. You'll always enjoy something you don't HAVE to do more than something that's necessary to do. Because there's no obligation to do it and it's your own free will. If you take cubing as a subject in school instead of History, you might probably enjoy reading History more than practising cubes.

The fact that you "have no idea what to do" may be some indication as to why you have a 2.5 GPA. I think there is a very simple answer. Can you really not figure this one out on your own?

My suggestion is to put off learning adavanced method algs until your local school holidays or a long weekend comes along.

You can solve cubes by LBL or 2-look/OLL-PLL methods in the mean time.

Maybe give the cubes a break for a week and get lots of work done...

Also try giving the forums a break to stop you thinking about cubes 24/7...
