what should you do when you hit a roadblock and times start increasing

Try to think back to how you were practicing before you stopped improving.

Lately I have stopped improving and I've found that I'm less consistent than before. This is mainly due to lack of practice, as I've been very busy with other things this summer. But I am also convinced that it is specifically because I don't do nearly as many slow turning solves that help me to be more critical of what I'm doing. (I barely have time to cube, so when I do I just do speedsolves.)

it might be at the times of day you cube, for instance if i cube in the morning i do really bad sort of 11 and onwards i cube to my normal average.

The trick is to not worry about your times. Take a break from timing yourself and just do slow, careful solves, making sure to optimise each stage as much as you can. Work on learning new algs for different cases, or new algs for the cases you know, but from different angles. Take a look through macky's site (cubefreak) for more advanced stuff. Try learning a new method like Roux; It will give you a better understanding of how the cube works.

Well when I was barely sub 30, and my times started to increase up to 40 seconds... I used CRC lube instead of Lubix from my friend and reviewed ALL the F2L Cases from the wiki trying to improve my f2l efficiency.

And because I made my cube faster, my max TPS increased which made my solves drop to sub 25 randomly it was so weird lol.

I also learned EOline from ZZ, and tried to incorparate it into normal CFOP F2L. I can check the edge orientation to predict if I have to rotate, or I can insert the current pair to make the next f2l pair 2 gen.

There are a lot of genius things in F2L lol so many things like permuting the edges, orientation edges, dang there are so many things lol.

But the important thing is to make these tricks as fast enough so your normal f2l time doesn't increase or else its pretty useless lol.

I think you should say lol more.

You missed one:
