[Help Thread] What should my next steps be

Hello, I'm Chris, and I've been solving the cube for a few months now. My averages are around 45 seconds, but it is not uncommon to get a few 34s, and my pb is 30. I know some of the 2 look oll algs, but my main question is in my move count during f2l. F2l can take me sometimes 20 seconds, and it is the part of my solve I really wish to improve upon. I was wondering if someone could supply some helpful vids/tips because I feel the move count I have during f2l is way to high to move onto newer algs like pll. Thanks. Most of the resources I've looked at have been confusing/not helpful, so really hoping someone can help.
