What is competition standard speedcube

Cube4You sells "competition standard speedcubes". Basically, most of the cubes there are good, but more people will agree that you can't go wrong with the original Type A cube from there. However, they sell other cubes that might suit your turning style better.

There's actually no "Competition Standard" cube. You can go to a competition with a 1$ cube and get lousy times. If you want a very fast and light cube, just buy a DIY. (Wow, I spent almost 2 days setting the perfect tension on my Rubik's DIY [not nonstop of course]. I still wasn't sure it was OK because I hadn't lubricated it yet and it seemed to lock up very often. Now it's the greatest thing ever :D, so it's all worth it)

From the pictures at Cube4you/cubefans, I'm pretty sure that this cube: -

The colour and texture of the tiles, the screws, the tabs on the centre caps, the core -- all of these features look the same. (Having just inserted photos the blue tiles on the puzl cube look lighter than my own cube :D )
