I used to cube a lot last year and i think i did it mostly for the attention at school bit yesterday i picked up a cube and messed around with it then today I did a average of 12 and got: 59.98 I thought that's pretty bad because i barely hit sub 1 minute. My best time in that average was: 44.92 and my average of 5 was 1:03.88

I use Roux and i forgot some of the algorithms but i remember most of them so what are your tips regarding someone like me?

That is great your getting back into cubing!

The biggest thing you could do is just practice a lot. And then maybe you could practice some more.

I think you should be able to get sub-40 again easily. You could also learn some new algs as well as the ones you forgot.

I'm not a Roux user, but I would study reconstructed solves done by Alex Lau, Kian Mansour, and Kavin Tangtarhtharakul, and watch some of their walkthrough videos to focus on efficiency (which iirc is one of Roux's main advantages). If you're turning at 2 TPS, getting from, say, 100 moves down to 80 moves on average makes the difference between 50 and 40 seconds.
