US Nationals 2010 Nerves

I'm sure it is nerves, you'll do just fine.. and yes Nats is a big comp but at least it ain't Worlds where they had all eyes on you when you were solving in the final round. Talk about pressure.

its the same format for nationals dude, lol

oh.. well then Cameron, I guess you're screwed. Naw just kiddin, I guess I meant at least it's not like the pressure of Worlds. There's nothing major at stake here. It's more about the experience than anything.

Even at Worlds, there's nothing major at stake.
You're cubing. Yes, it's a competition, but it's a hobby. When it all comes down to it, you do it because it's fun. So go have fun.

Nobody cares about a stupid puzzle.
Just solve it and get it over with.
;)

(Oh, shoot. This reminds me, I leave for Boston in 6 hours. I should probably pack/sleep.)

Don't worry about it. I don't expect to do well not only because it's a high pressure environment, but also because it's in an unfamiliar place after a five hour flight and I'll probably be sleeping on a floor at night. But the important thing is the experience, having fun, and getting to hang out with lots of other people you normally don't get to see. If you look at it that way, what do you have to lose? If your dad understands this, he wouldn't be so hard on you.
