Nah, watch the video proper. He knew it was gonna be an EP skip. Theres a certain way people react to PLL skip, you'll be shocked, like you know you're supposed to get a PLL but you get a skip, so the drop is gonna be sudden. He dropped immediately he did the OLLCP, no sudden reaction so he definitely knew it was a skip.

Just because he knew it was a skip doesn't mean it wasn't lucky. He got lucky to get a skip, but he was skilled enough to recognize that it would be a skip.
