I have heard that joy cubes are very good for one-handed solving. But unfortunately they are on back-order at tribox. I have read that edisons are great for speed solving but will they be as good as the joys for one-handed? Sadly the threads I have read about the edisons just discuss how good they are at two-handed solving, not how good they are at one-handed solving.

Also are the edison pyraminx good from tribox?

I was also planning on buying a 2x2x2 and 4x4x4 eastsheen from tribox. Are the tribox eastsheens they any good?

Thanks so much for your help.

The edison that I've tried was nice, but I don't think it'd be too great for OH. To get the turn started, it's a little bit unresponsive, which isn't a problem for normal speedsolves, but it may be bad for OH solving. It also doesn't pop, which is another plus. I think joy cubes are smoother and cut corners a lot better, but are prone to popping.

The Edison pyraminx is great, as long as you can loosen it a bit. It will be pretty tight right out of the box, and even after a lot of playing.

Eastsheens are just eastsheens. There aren't different types.
