Yeah, you can only touch the top face. The other faces won't do anything until you do a cube rotation. So, you can't do U and D moves unless you do an x first, and then do B and F. But yeah, it's a neat gadget if you're interested, and it's a really good discount right now. I am a little curious to see what kind of method it uses for the self-solving and hint features.

I'd really like one but I know it's not really my style. I just kind of want it to have in my collection and try it out when he really bored. But I think I'd rather by a good number of 2x2s then Rubik's Touch. But if you get a giftcard of course this would be a cool item to get.

You can in fact do U moves. You can swipe from one edge to an adjacent one to turn the top face.

btw you can easily mess up the cube by doing U turn.

edit: if they increase speed movement I can do even sub 30 ^^ just a few solves
