This was the CubingUSA Nationals stream for Day 2.
If you go to 1:03:30 in the stream Tommy Cherry does his last solve for round 2. As you can see at the top he got a DNF which meant he was going to safety (meaning he flips the clock to make sure its solved). On this solve he got 3.11, but if you pause the video at exactly when he starts to flip, the time was 2.44, meaning that if he didn't safety that likely would have been ~2.5, which is WR Single.
Idk why I'm pointing this out months after it happened but yeah it is something interesting I found.
