Tips on getting sub 5 on Pyraminx?

¡INSPECTION! Assuming you use a top first method (1-flip, WO, Nutella, etc...) you should be able to see the top and the case of the 3 bottom centers. If you can do that, you are already sub5 ;)

Dude he said he used LBL in the post XD
I average like 6-8 using LBL with an (Unlubed) Moyu Pyraminx. Times aren't updated in my signature. The tips are too time consuming for me I think, that may be for you, too. All 4 tips twisted can take me up to 3 seconds...
I know a few intuitive easy L4E cases, but I'm probably just going to switch to a top first method after my next competition because I doubt I'll get much faster with this method.

I'm not sub-5 yet (I average low to mid 5), but one thing I notice that can always be improved upon is the tips. If you don't already, do as much as you can so you only have 1 tip maximum by your last turn. Also, use a combination of inserts (like R U' R') and sledgehammers (like R' L R L') to insert edges to get a good last layer or an LL skip. Finally, blockbuild a lot. When you finish your first layer centers, try to already have 1 or 2 edges inserted. Good luck! Pyra is the best!
