well long story short, my storebought broke again and i need a new cube. does anybody know whether or not slick cubes, or dienshengs, or ghost hands are better.

Well, storebought cubes arent that fragile.
You're obviously mistreating them because none of my store cubes have ever broken on me, in my 2 years of cubing.

Also, your list isnt very comprehensive, but the ghost hand would be the best choice.

I have heard that the Ghost Hand cubes are really great. And they're cheap too.

I don't have experience with a ton of cubes... but out of all of those that I have tried, the store bought rubik's has definetely been the most sturdy. If you break those, you will absolutely destroy pretty much any of the DIY's from c4y.

I voted for diansheng, because that is the cube I use the most. I do not use the one from c4u but the N°222 with normal shape cubies and fat screws. I've also tried the ghosthand cube but it just didn't work out for me. Can't really say anything about the slickcube, but if it really is identical to the type d, then I would say it is a good cube, but hard to control.
If you're still unsure about what cube to buy, maybe you should just toss a coin. At least this would give you an unambiguous result that ignores all unstable factors like personal preference and whether people have actually tried the cubes they did not vote for.

I bought a ghost hand cube and received it yesterday.
Very nice cube out of the box.. might suffer deteriation because its said to be a type F cube.
I will probably play around with it and see how good it is.
I am going to try other cubes meanwhile.. but it will probably be among the favourites in my list.

The Ghost Hand is not a Type F cube. It's a Type F clone. The plastic for the Ghost Hand seems to be of higher quality so I don't think that it will deteriorate like the Type F.
