[Member Intro] The Ace of Cubes

Hey everyone! I'm Finn. (they/he/she)
I've been cubing since April 2022.
I currently average about 35 seconds on 3x3 but my best is 22.98.
I solve 3x3, 2x2, Clock, and Pyraminx.
Welcome! What methods do you use and can you solve any other puzzles?

Hi and welcome to the SS forums yo!
If you're aiming to make newcomers feel welcome and special, I don't think they will feel that way when they see that you just typed basically the exact same message for 9 people before them (+ liked I don't know how many posts), all within a 3 minute time frame, to be honest!

If SS admin really appreciate this, I don't know why they just don't save you the trouble and make a welcome bot.

I mean no disrespect, but dude, you just spammed the forums with 36 one liner posts which add nothing to the discussions that you posted in within a 44 minute time frame. In the past, people were frowned upon for making 10 consecutive posts (even just 3).

Just letting you know that this type of posting behavior is considered annoying by many. And if I were to do this, I would find it to be downright exhausting. (I don't know where you get the energy!) Why exhaust yourself to do something that annoys the community? It's a lose-lose, isn't it?

Hi sorry for the chaos and spam Christopher.

I do want to connect to each beginner by writing out a message. It is not exhausting from my perspective as it is the only time I get to check cubing updates (when I am doing my daily commute).

I will be more mindful next time while connecting with beginners. I guess connecting with 3 beginners on the forum at the time is a good practice to follow.

I never want to become like a welcome bot. I try to read and understand the level of the cuber and try to welcome them by a reply to their post.

I will be more mindful to write a tailored out and more personal welcome to new cubers. I love connecting with cubers especially if they are new and have a lot of energy to explore.

Extremely sorry again for this spammy behaviour.

I recently got married so I did not have time to check the forums. Today, I opened the forums and found a lot of activity that I had to read, follow up and reply.

I will make sure not to take huge breaks (3 weeks) from the SS forums.
