Stakcmat timers

I got my stackmat timer 4 days ago( May 10th), it was my first timer, and sometimes when I put my hands on it it starts and stops in 0.02-0.04 seconds, sometimes evenmore. Has this ever happened to you? Can I change the thing's batteries?

Yeah, when you split it, there should be a circular thing that you can use a coin to unscrew.
