I just bought a rubik cube 2 day ago, i manage to figure out the petrus method somehow. But due to the fact that i didnt follow the content in lar petrus web. I am now stuck in the middle of nowhere in the LL.

I can F2l. Apparently, the algorithms or solution i created on my own is kinda weird. Maybe i should share this and hope you guys can here can give me some advice. The way i turn the 3x3 is similar to some pple turn the 4x4.
I can solve the F2l in 26-30 moves. However, there is one frustrating thing, it is such that i always got to pause for a moment to check out the things before i carry out.

How did pple in youtube carry out their petrus without seeing even for a moment, did they manage to predict the colours?

Most importantly, i need help for LL. Whats the algorithm for Sune , Niklas and Allan. I know it is in the lar petrus portal but i cant find it.

Thanks in advance. Please help a newbie in distress.

I don't know how you cant find those algs. Niklas sune and allan are in animations right at the top of the pages for step five, six, and seven respectively. right next to "beginner". And no, no one really "predicts the colors". you just get to a point, with practice, where you don't look at what you are currently building, but instead, look ahead to find the pieces for what you are building next. you have a lot of practice to go before that becomes really important. i would really like to see a f2l solution of yours under 30 moves. that is really good for a beginner....

Well, actually i spend 1 month on the F2l before i got my cube. Playing on lar petrus website and my friends cube.

As for the moves, i told you the way i turn my cube is totally weird. So far, i have yet to see someone turn like me. For eg; i turn 2 layers at a time and to make a 2x3x2 method, i devise a way to turn such that it is similar to fixing bad edges. As for the final part of F2l, i learnt it from fallofshadow at youtube.

And o yes, i found the algorithms at lar petrus webbie. Thanks. Didnt notice that the formula is up there.

Some may find it unbelievable to solve F2l in 30 moves or or less or approx. But i think its fully justify if one have master the lar petrus method. The Petrus method is the method which require much thinking. Therefore, one really can find the shortest way through practise. Its just like how lar did it. And jessica can solve the cube in 50 over turns. 30 over turns for F2l is def normal. the remainding 20 turns can be used for COLL , OLL , PLL

Right?

26-30 is entirely possible (I have solved entire cubes in that amount of moves), but for a beginner and during speedsolving it is really impressive. Could you post a video?

COLL/OLL/PLL? That means you really don't understand the last layer. COLL means you orient and permute the corners
OLL means you orient the edges and corners
PLL means you permute the edges and corners

You either do
1) Petrus-style; Edge-OLL (full Petrus does this during the F2L) + COLL + Edge-PLL
2) Beginner-style: Edge-OLL, Corner-OLL, Corner-PLL, Edge-PLL
3) Intermediate-style: Edge-OLL, Corner-OLL, PLL
4) Advanced: OLL, PLL
5) Ultra-Advanced: Edge-OLL during F2L, ZBLL

(other options exist, but these are the most used for the LL)

His name is LarS Petrus. (I´m sure he doesn´t mind).

I sure would mind if my name was spelled as "johanne laire".

I'd like to see some example solves.

If anyone ever masters Lars Petrus' method, his/her move count for F2L would be closer to 20 than 30.

Mastered for highspeed (without making to many moves) I think it will be just below 30
Mastered for fewer moves (without using to much time) I think it will be just below 25
Mastered for real fewest moves I think it will be about 15
(Fridrich for real fewest moves takes me about 20)

I want to see a video

Yeah I think you need to show an example solve or a video because at this point I dont entirely believe that someone could be down to less than 30 moves in a speedsolve when they have been cubing for 1 month on a virtual rubik's cube.

Since yer pple are so curiouse about knowing how i turn the cube. I will try get a video up in youtube. No laughs please by then. and yea, see, 30 moves is actually quite alot already.

Petrus method and lar petrus method is the same, arent it?

Have you got his "name" from here?
"I have looked at Lar Petrus' tutorial, however I believe that is too advanced for me at this current point in time"

Of course they are the same! Lars Petrus (he's a person) made a method, and people call it the Petrus method (his last name). They don't fee like calling the Lars Petrus method because it's long so they shortened it to the Petrus Method. People sometimes would call it the Lars Petrus method on websites but when talking, most people refer it as the Petrus Method.
