Skills it take so solve a cube intuitively.

IQ. So you don't include people who can't think.

Don't include IQ. My autistic (aka low scoring IQ) brother solved most of a cube totally by himself. The spirit is right but the method measures how good you are at interpreting and answering the questions in a specific (mostly timed) format, not the ability to solve the core problem itself.

What Kir said, and also possibly natural ability in mathematics, though it's tenuous.

Ok. Also, understanding of how the cube works. People "solving" the cube side by side is too lol.

I'm autistic and my IQ is fairly high (130) though I don't think both of those things have ever helped me in cubing.

I just always used trial and error back when I was trying to do one side. I guess knowing where pieces go when you do certain moves helps.

Autistic or Aspergers? My brother is pretty good now but he was very disabled.

Aspergers. but since it branches of autism and no one I know of has really heard of aspergers I just say I'm autistic. I know the two are slightly different but It's such a big spectrum that everyone who has it is completely different.
