Skidproof stickers in water with soap?

Im gonna clean my type D and the stickers are skidproof,if i soak it in water,will the stickers go bad?

That's a coincidence, I cleaned my Type D today.

I'd assume this is common sense, but even if the stickers are skid proof, unless they're 100% stuck down, they're going to peel more if you soak them. Water has a way of getting in microscopic cracks, so if your stickers are peeling even a little, it's a no-go. You could just use a damp cloth?
