I think they should because it's fun puzzle and it will be interesting to see what times some of the best 3x3 solvers get on it ;)

Well you can do as many 360 events you like, times might be listed in the unofficial database

Btw There are no 3x3 skills that you can re-use on a 360, so the best 3x3 solvers would have to start over learning this game

yeah i know, and so because it's a totally different puzzle I would like to see how some of the best 3x3 can do on it.

No, there is enough competition for every other puzzle out there.

That is just a random idea like, why don't we make platypus an official event.

A better idea would be like, "Hey, Bob Burton/Tyson Mao/Ron Van Bruchem you're so awesome you should make pyraminx crystal an official event!"

I bolded Bob Burton because he is particularly awesome.

Imho the only reason for considering the 360 as an official event are the Rubiks brand. If it was produced under a different brand I really doubt that anyone here would be talking about it.

I totally agree. I played with the one Tyson brought to Fort Lee and got bored after a few minutes. I got one ball in, and I would probably be satisfied if I never in my life were to solve one.

There are no events for Rubik's Sudoku, Brain Racker and Snake either so I don't think that the 360 should become an event.

I voted no but the only real way to determine if it should become an event is to see if it catches on.

i think they should have it as like, either an optional event, either before the comeptition starts,or after it ends, there's no prize or anything,it's just a fun thing, but there are enough competition events as there is,i think the only other even that should be added is.....MAYBE golden cube, but not enough people have that.

There are SOOOO many puzzles better deserving of being official events than the 360. I would much rather see skewb or pyracrystal, or even something as simple as the floppy cube be added before the 360 is. (Not that I would ever want to see the floppy cube be an official event)

There are tons of puzzles out there that don't have their own event, but if they all did, competitions would be too overwhelming, plus the point is to have enough for variety but still create a lot of competition for each event.

I don't think every time Rubik makes another product we should include it in a competition.

i agree, just because of the branding, we are now considering it for official events... so why dont we allow the touchcube in the comps then?
