Sanding a Rubik's Studio 5x5?

Hi, I got a Rubik's Studio 5x5 today, of course it is very stiff and tight, I read that it will take a few days to improve.
Okay, but what about sanding it to become really good? Has anyone done that and if so, how did you do that?

the 5x5 Studio I bought at Worlds was nice from the beginning...

I could turn inner layers quite well, and it took just a few days to get really good...don't think you need to sand it...can make it too loose with the time :/

I sanded the wings a year ago and that really improved my 5x5x5. But on the newer models the need to do this is much smaller.

The disadvantage to sanding is that you get more "rotating center-corners". My times could easily be 10 seconds better if I didn't have to correct those pieces at least 5 times during a solve. (I have bad technique)
