rubik's revolution

hi just wonted you all to know that i got the new rubik's revolution. my girlfriend got one for me at time square toys'r'us. well it is a revolution but it is totaly different then the original cube. you cant even twist it its just a new toy. some light games and thats it. going on a trip tomorrow so will play with it alittle bit more. the speaker is not really good too. would like to know what you all think about the new cube.

I think it sucks. In another thread I told my ideas for a REAL Rubik's Revolution, lol. Which included... yes, that's right... the ability to turn the cube!

ja it would really be nice if the cube would be like a real cube with the new light stuff. i played the games a few times. it is actually fun to play probably nice at parties if you are drunk or so . probably wont play it very often and i dont think it should be called a rubik's cube. but well it probably increases the number of sells.

I might have bought it at Toys R Us the other day because I wanted to give it a second chance but when I looked at it it just didn't appeal to me. Turning world have been nice. Just a cube with lights that can turn would definetly get them more sales than what they will get with their cube that they have now.

A cube that gives light and can turn is very expensive, someone calculated it, it was around 60 to 100 euro's I believe.

well it is basiclly like the other eye-hand coordination games, like poop it and the guitar thing. i like the games so i kind of like this too, just to play for fun. i dont think, that it necessary would bring them more sails. the more sails would then come from the small group of cubers. besides i think the revolution is to big to cube with. the turnable revolution would more be like a 100 bugs, because the real revolution has a speaker as well. maybe there will be a revolution2, which will have the ability to turn, in 25 years or so.
