Rubik's Magic- Advanced Method (Disadvantage)

Hello everyone

I am just wanting to ask you guys when you perform the advanced method for the Rubik's Magic, does it break very easily?

I did the advanced method like 20-30 times and it broke; all of the strings came off and just everything fell apart. I mean when you twist the Magic on the first step; it also twists the strings and in that process the string comes off...

be careful the first couple times and let the strings stretch...after that there's less of a risk of them coming off or snapping....regardless, you should learn how to restring it.

I just learned how to restring the Rubik's Magic; today! It took me about 6 hours to complete my first restring... but i am getting used to it.

yes, it "breaks" easily with the advanced method. you'll learn how to solve it more precisely if you have to restring it every time

I've probably broken 4 magics in total, but that is the reality of practicing magic, if you hold back, you will be too slow.

Its just like pops on a 3x3. Slow down and work up to a faster speed.

Just keep practicing. You'll learn to control it and it will happen less.

Just a tip for preventing actual breakage of strings; when you restring it, make sure the medal part is in the middle of the tile. If it's on the side it has a better chance of breaking.

Except I don't think the judge would let you restring the magic in the middle of a solve so you could finish it...
