Ok so ive gotten fridrich down, i can do it in 1:00-2:00 minute average my best being 1:11. And i wana move onto roux, but i cant find a relyable place to learn it. Can someone help? ive searched google and youtube but found some not very helpful things. i got as far as making the 1x2x3 blocks on each side then the botom edge peices, but i dont know where i can get the algorithms to do the top layer. Basicly all i want is a website in which has the complete tutorial on learning the roux method. thanks in advance

ever thought of using olls and plls to et your time faster
if you got full fridrich down then you would now olls and plls to do corners on the top layer
but i think you should rather stick with fridrich but roux gives a lot of more options on your solves
so i guess learn it but stick with fridrich

Look for CLL pages, there you find the algs for LL corners. Also COLL works but the algs are longer than needed. Best is to use algs designed for CMLL but there are not many sources for those exept the algs at Gilles' page, I have posted some in this forum but in wich thread?? Don't expect me to remember that :p

EDIT: the algs in my big cube tutorial are designed for Roux styles, it's in the guides section...

At that stage oll's and pll's won't make his time much faster.

I wouldn't recommend learning any thing if your current goal is just to get faster. I don't think you've gotten Fridrich down at all. I'm skeptical that you even got LBL down.
Also, Google is your friend, use it. How can you even know of the Roux method without bothering to see Roux's site? If the things you've found aren't useful, then you probably aren't really to learn a more advanced method yet. Basic look ahead and fingertricks will get your average down to sub-1 min easily. Practicing and concentrating on the available resources is the key!

Please learn Roux or Petrus or some other block method. They are fun and offer the benefits of individual discovery! Also, learn to punctuate correctly, please. [repeat what other members have said]...[/repeat what other members have said].
