Recommendations for timing solves?

Does anyone have any recommendations for timers to track solve times? I'd prefer anything on the cheaper side because I don't have a lot of money...

Using a Qiyi timer never hurt anyone

Jokes aside, it’s pretty good, and far better than the Moyu timer

I use a QiYi timer together with CSTimer (classic set up)

I prefer using the first gan timer or the stackmat timer combined with cstimer with cable or keyboard.

I personally swap between the Stackmat Gen 5 and the QiYi (not Smart) timers regularly.

Found a Qiyi timer and mat set at a thrift store...It works perfectly fine. I would recommend finding one used like that, maybe. Consider looking around in places like that or on eBay.

You should buy the qiyi smart timer. It automatically syncs your times to the qiyi app.

burn a candle and measure the initial height and final height. subtract the heights and apply a formula based on the speed of the candle burn rate.
this should give you an approximate time measurement

or you could just use a generic stack timer
