First full cube attempt, first success, and in good time.
Total time: 6:17.99.
Yes, that's six MEENUTZ.
The solve begins at 2:15ish.
That is, memo and exec.
Method is like OP (just found out mine's like badmephisto's OP tutorial, lawl), but my memo is weird.
Description:
Whoever can notice what's wrong with this video (no, it's not the solve at all), then I'll give you a shoutout in my 5 next videos.
So, here's my first BLD solve! 1st attempt is a success! YAY!
Time: 6:17.99!
Memo:
Edges: 2:00.93.
Corners: 1:12.19.
Total memo: 3:13.12.
Execution: the rest.
My memo method:
NOTE: THIS WAS FROM A CHAT.
yoda12127 (7:00:17 PM): How do you memo?
Ranzhave (7:00:25 PM): Old Pochmannish.
yoda12127 (7:00:41 PM): Story?
Ranzhave (7:00:43 PM): No.
Ranzhave (7:00:46 PM): Hold on....
Ranzhave (7:00:48 PM): Just a mo'.
Ranzhave (7:00:52 PM): I need to explain this in full.
Ranzhave (7:11:02 PM): Back. I ate.
yoda12127 (7:11:23 PM): Yum, food
Ranzhave (7:11:43 PM): So, here's my memo method.
Ranzhave (7:11:53 PM): I don't remember colours. I remember pieces.
Ranzhave (7:13:01 PM): The edge UL is A.
Ranzhave (7:13:09 PM): The edge FL is B.
Ranzhave (7:13:19 PM): DL is C, BL is D.
Ranzhave (7:13:53 PM): UB is E,
UF is F,
DF is G,
DB is H.
Ranzhave (7:14:20 PM):
UR is I.
FR is J.
DR is K.
BR is L.
Ranzhave (7:14:53 PM): This pertains to the letter in front being the correctly oriented sticker.
yoda12127 (7:15:16 PM): Ah, I see.
Ranzhave (7:15:23 PM): That is, The piece in the edge position "A" would have, for me, white on top, orange on left.
Ranzhave (7:15:30 PM): A' would be the opposite.
Ranzhave (7:15:40 PM): Any incorrectly oriented edge has a prime afterward.
Ranzhave (7:15:51 PM): You get the idea for edges?
Ranzhave (7:16:47 PM): I remember the edge cycles at letters/letters prime. When I cycle is completed, I DON'T BREAK INTO ANOTHER ONE.
yoda12127 (7:16:56 PM): Yeah, it was on the OP website
yoda12127 (7:17:18 PM): OP = Old Pochmann
Ranzhave (7:17:24 PM): What I do is I switch the edge in buffer position "I" with an incorrect edge.
Ranzhave (7:17:30 PM): Then I memo a new cycle.
Ranzhave (7:17:41 PM): That is, as if the new edge in buffer was there.
Ranzhave (7:17:57 PM): I orient at the end if I have a parity-type error.
Ranzhave (7:18:09 PM): Then it's almost the same for corners.
Ranzhave (7:18:15 PM): Orientation is a biatch, though.
yoda12127 (7:19:17 PM): That's why I like stories
yoda12127 (7:19:20 PM): Easy memo
So yeah! I'm so happeh!
