RANT: This stuff needs to stop

But in jperms defense he usually delivers on the promise.
The reason why clickbait are cancer is that they often mislead and trick you into watching or reading something you wouldn't do if you knew the content.
The title "can a beginner solve a cube below 1 minute??"
Or "I attempted to solve 21x21" are technically clickbait but they are arguably better than:
"M.k. asked me to teach her cube and she got sub-1 single after a week of practice"
"21x21x21 solved in 6h"

So I think disliking jperm for using clickbait is a "Extended analogy" logical fallacy.

Content with catchy provocative titles that actually delivers on the underline tag line is what I like to refer to as "LegitBait" - I see absolutely no problem with this. It's impossible to get views and grow a channel if no-one clicks on your stuff!

Do 5 minutes of research into growing a YT channel and you'll see over and over again the importance of engaging thumbs and titles.

I see it all over the internet where people talk trash about "clickbait" meanwhile creators understand it's absolutely essential to channel growth. Yes, there is garbage content out there with catchy titles but that's not really what's been brought up here.
