I just had a kinda brilliant idea:

Have you ever heard of the power of visualization?
Basically, if you can visualize doing/having/being something, you are more likely to achieve that...
According to lots of scientific/psychological studies this stuff works (to a degree... don't try to fly off the top of the school, or the Eiffel Tower...)

==> so here's the idea <==
Practice doing 3×3 solves on your big cubes...
literally do a 3×3 scramble on all of them
Then do the 3×3 solves on all of them
(or pick one size cube you want to focus on and do that one over and over like you would normally do; Ao5, Ao12, Ao25, etc)

Obviously this practice will help to get better at the 3×3 stage of the big cubes generally, that's normal ...

buuut HERE'S THE IDEA:
When we do the 3×3 stage of these big cubes,
THERE WILL BE NO PARITY of any kind, not EDGE nor OLL nor PLL ...
And the mind sees No Parity happening, over and over ...

And this is where the Power Of Visualization kicks in:
Doing so many solves like this will fill the mind with the experience of being in the Parity~Free Zone
And this will subconsciously INTUITIVELY influence the mind to make non~conscious choices in solving big cubes to help bring about the result of having no parity present by the 3×3 stage in big cube solves

If the Mind can See it, You can DO it

Any thoughts? Any ideas? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? Anyone? You? Vous? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

I have aphantasia, which means I have no mental eye and can therefore not form images in my head. I guess that’s now my excuse for why I’m bad at big cubes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Aw man, that must suck, sounds like you lack imagination😟 I did say a lil prayer for you

edit:
Seriously, not making fun of you or disrespecting you. I wouldn't make fun of anyone with a condition.
I actually did say a lil prayer asking God to help you with your aphantasia 😇🙏😎

Just for possible inspiration, I know of at least three of the top 100 multiBLD people in the world who also have this:
Mark Boyanowski
Marcin Kowalczyk (Maskow)
Will Cerne

It is surprising, since so many multiBLDers use images to memorize. But apparently using sentences instead of images allows perfectly good and clearly quite fast memorization and recall.

Whoa... but good for them, that's cool.
I've read where both language and "map-skills" abilities are located in different areas of the brain than what I guess we might call the "imagery cortex," altho aphantasia can also have to do with imagining any of our sensory inputs (sound, smell, &c.)...

Revolutionary. I will practice every last slot case in a trainer that doesn't scramble last layer as well. So that every time I practice solving the last slot, it will also solve the last layer. I will do this for weeks on end until it is simply impossible for me to ever ever get last layer. I will skip last layer without any tricks, just smart practice

I am also top 100 in the world for MBLD, I don't have complete aphantasia but visualisation is hard for me, so I usually only visualise the first word of a cube and the rest is mostly independent on the room (I use 1 room per cube). I feel like for multi this works perfectly fine but for big cubes I think it gives a disadvantage for 1 passing because the sequence order is easier to be messed up this way.

By the way, is it true that Marcin didn't use a letter scheme but had a word for each alg, without having a letter pair as an in-between step? I remember hearing that somewhere.

Nonono, I wanted an excuse for why I’m bad

Nah, when you’ve never been able to visualize you don’t miss it. It’s also just a thing, not a disorder or an illness that needs to get better.

So what happens in your sleep when you dream?

I don’t. Or rather, I dream very rarely. When I do dream, it’s rather vague and I’ll forget it very soon after I wake up, and I can never remember the full storyline or stuff that happened, just one main idra
