PLL Focus

I have just questions about PLL's.I am learning badmephisto's 21 PLL's.And i already have just only learned almost 10-12 of them(i'm not sure).But i am sure i can memorize it in the future.So any tips on anything regarding PLL's?
In PLL's? When should i use them in an actual recorded solve? (i just use the PLL's i learned on practice not on a real recorded solve).......so any tips,regarding to anything about PLL's?......

Well, I like to track F2L pairs around the cube to help me memorise PLL.
I have most PLL's memorised (not badmephisto's) and just use those in any type of solve. Just try to use your PLL's in their exact cases as much as possible.
