I searched, and don't think this has been done before.

The idea is the do a relay of all the platonic solids.

tetrahedron (pyraminx), cube (3x3), octahedron (I think there is a few of these, maybe the face turning one?), dodecahedron (megaminx), and icosahedron (again, maybe the face turning one).

Has this been done before? If not, any fast cubers who happen to have them all want to give this a shot?

Well,
1) Come up with a good speedsolving method for the Face Turning Octahedron
2) Come up with a scrambler for the FTO

3) Come up with a good speedsolving method for the Face turning Icosahedron (Eitan's star)
4) Come up with scrambler for said puzzle.

Supposedly it takes hours to solve the FTI so yeah.

The higher you get, the less relevant the lower cubes become, so if you are worried about your times, your focus should be primarily on the bigger shapes that take more time. Especially if there's one that takes hours.

A skewb moves in the same way as a face turning octahedron would, since they are duals of each other. You could mod a skewb to be an octahedron or just use a skewb, if you don't have a face turning octahedron.
Edit: if you wanted to mod one, you would just chop off the corners so that the slice you make goes through the centers of each adjacent face. You don't have to slice it, I'm just trying to make it easy to picture in your mind.
