Phasing to always solve all 4 corners (ZZ)

I've learnt the method (actually I've had learnt it in the past prior to the superphasing proposal) with exception of the Pi case which is pretty long alg

my thoughs: phasing is an excellent idea (in theory) to reduce the number of cases on the last layer but having a bad phasing case and having to do super phasing afterwards is pretty exaustive and a weak point of the method.

having only 3 (mirrors excluded) plls is pleasent but the previously mentioned hassle must be taken in acocunt.

Pi case ocll is the worst of all. I suggest this alg instead:

 Twizzle link
z D' R U R' D R U2 R D R' U R D'

I have a different proposal:

eo cross + f2l without caring with last layer edge permutation
solve epll with sunes (this link provides my method for solving the epll with sunes easily... 6 different cases solve with sunes)
l4c (84 algs)

90 "algs" total

BUT this method I'm proposing may be just worst than oll + pll or coll+epll after all

I talked about a beginner version but no one seemed to care back then

let's not mention zbll or zzll
Yeah, it seems hard to find a short Pi alg that preserves EP. I like the OCLL you suggested, thank you! I'll add it to the OLCs.

Yeah, superphasing makes ZZ-r a 3LLL, although first look is just 1 (longer) alg with a 50% chance for not needing it at all before moving on to only 7 OCLL and 4 CPLL cases = 12 algs (6 and 3 with mirrors excluded = 10 algs). For me, phasing itself is a fairly quick and intuitive part of last slot of F2L, but recognition of parity to see if you need to superphase can be annoying.

Thank you for sharing the 3LLL (with ZZ) EP/CO/CP method! I'm going to hang onto that for the last layer methods I'm learning about. It's only 16 algs. I'm enjoying learning about different methods to last layer less intimidating for a beginner speedsolver as far as alg count. Oh wait, so you proposed this method? I think it's a nice option for beginners. I'm a little confused on EPLL case recognition. Oh, and I see that you use the same string for all the EPLL cases (sune)--wow, that's awesome. Now I see why you say 12 algs :) Definitely accessible.

Yeah, we won't mention ZBLL and ZZLL 😆

I'm posting in this thread even if it's not active for the last 3 years because I want to ask:

Can this method be doable for edges only 3x3x3?
