can anyone tell me if the color scheme is different on the 1980s cube because i purchased one on ebay and was wondering if it was the victim of a sticker peeler or not the colors are set up white across blue, orange across red, and yellow across green the other thing is does it come with a logo on it or not?

The colour scheme thing is normal too.

It could have a logo, there are multiple types of cubes in the 1980s. There were clones which were very similar.

actually i do suffer from dyslexia so thanks for making me feel horrible jk i just misunderstood the first post but seriously i do have dyslexia and the second post was there while i was typing mine so sorry that your so grumpy thbbbt :P

I have 2 original 1980's Rubik's Cubes purchased in the United States. Both of them have the color scheme you describe. (Which is why I call it the "Original American Color Scheme", not the "Japanese Color Scheme". :)) They also have logos which simply say "Rubik's Cube" with "Rubik's" in script.

Yea, I have an original Rubik's cube (it was my dad's), it has the Japanese color scheme and, like Mike said, it has a logo which just says "Rubik's Cube", very simple stuff.
Mine pops a whole ton... :P

My grandma has a really old, ADJUSTABLE cube from like the early 80's, but the color scheme is white/orange, green/yellow, red/blue. And the colors themselves are weird.

For you, you have a normal cube.
