Sorry for the bump, idk if you’ve found the real origin yet but on the page for the sexy move it says Arnaud van Galen coined the term in his 3x3 tutorials.

He explained the origin story behind the term in a reply to a Yt comment on this vid:

“I was in Spain for a cube competiton, hanging out with some Spanish cubers. We were discussing easy but quick ways to solve the cube. I suggested that it should be possible to solve the cube with just a few variations of R U R' U'. We challenged each other to perform it (6x times, time it, etc) and somebody said "oh, sexy". It might have been drinks, it might have been me, it might have been someone passing by at the moment, but I completely ignored the situation and replied seriously "yeah, it is a sexy move". Lots of laughter followed, everyone kept performing 6x sexy, kept thinking of ways to solve the entire cube with it and most importantly kept saying things like "F sexymove F' ". The same kept happening during the competition and 15-20 years later it is still used by everyone all over the (cubing)world”
