Yesterday I was sitting down and doing a bunch of OH solves and hitting the low forties(with a few sub-40s) because that is my average now so I wanted to get lower. I started moving my fingers as fast as I could and I rotated the cube and tilted my hand, etc. in all kinds of ways as I did this because it made it easier to do certain moves. But as I kept solving my brain or my head literally started to hurt a bit and I kind of became disoriented as I solved. I started getting a bunch of solves between 48 to 52 seconds because I couldn't concentrate properly. Has anyone experienced this kind of feeling whilst doing one-handed solves? Does anyone know what causes this? Is it just because I kept tilting the cube and moving so fast that my brain could not process fast enough or something of the sort?

I highly doubt it. I'd say fatigue/lack of sleep or nourishment. I don't see any reason for it to be explicitly related to cubing. If it's dark and you've been starinbg at a computer screen for hors it could to it too.

No, actually, my hand just had a little bit of fatigue but it was nothing that a few minutes rest could not have solved. I always get hand fatigue after doing several OH solves but I've never gotten to a point where my head just felt dizzy. I've been sleeping well and I was relaxed at the time. The only thing I can think of that would have caused this was the way I kept tilting and turning the cube because it was literally going from where the Cross was on the D-face but I tilt the cube so that it is on the L or R-face and sometimes it was on the F or B faces because of the way I was moving it with my hand. The only thing I can figure out from this is that maybe I was just moving it too fast. Any ideas yet?

Idk about moving it too fast... Cause I turn it a little faster than you and I have never experienced this...
It could just be you are not used to OH yet, I have no idea... During my first 5x5 average I felt a little disoriented so maybe its the same thing.

Heh, you turn a LOT faster than me.

Well, I've been practicing OH probably ever since I got down to like 50 seconds which was a few weeks after I first started cubing last year so I am definitely used to it by now. Maybe I'm not used to the speed at which I have to move in order to get consistenly below 40. No one else has experienced this really?
