I'm new here (obviously).
I can solve 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, and 7x7. Hopefully getting a Megaminx and/or Pyramix at Christmas.
First of all. My 3x3's are getting kinda crappy (Type-3 [I think] DIY that lost two centers ^.^; and a generic store-bought Rubik.) I have relatively big hands, tend to speed up too much and use intuitive F2L and 2-look OLL/PLL, any cube recommendations?
Second, can anyone link a virtual Megaminx simulator? Preferably mouse-controlled, don't care if it's download or not.
Last, Yes I'm only fourteen, no I'm not some 'stupid little kid' that you can talk down to whenever I don't understand something.

Hello and welcome to the forums,

If you want to improve your 3x3 times, I suggest learning the most optimal/fastest way to insert corner-edge pairs. Optimal meaning less than 8 moves and fastest meaning good, fluid fingertricks. I suggest buying a Guhong or an Alpha-V and modding it. As far as last layer is concerned... make sure that you learn the best algorithms right off the bat that you can execute comfortably. Recently, I had to relearn about 10 algorithms for the last layer because I realized some were really slow. Good luck!

Edit: freshcuber, I believe in another thread he made he said he averaged about a minute.

Ultimate Magic Cube can do megaminx and is mouse controlled; give it a try.

Why didn't you mention 6x6 or anything higher in your list of solvable cubes? 7x7 skills are all you need :)

I just found my way back to the introduction page ;-;
Anyway, I didn't mention 6x6 because I don't have one and therefore can't technically solve one. I just got the Megaminx 2 days ago :D
