i think my fingers are too short for OH :((, i've tried R' a lot of time with ring or little finger but i failed to combine with U. for an example: i can't do R U R' U' with R' use ring or little finger. Can you give me some tips?

Try the pinky a bit more.

You could also hold the U layer firm with your index finger so that the R' doesnt lock up.

I'm just starting OH too, and I've a similar problem. Just tilt the cube towards z slightly and you should be able to reach to do R' with your pinky. I can do that, but I'm a bit slow, though. My problem is U. I can't push all the way. And your fingers aren't too short. Mine's shorter. It's just the matter of getting used to it.

Hmmm. For R U R' U' I'd use my index finger because it's already right there after you push the U. And as far as actually doing R' better, just practice. Try tilting the cube different ways and just see what works for you. It took me 3 weeks or so to be able to do R' quickly with my pinky. You just have to get some strength in the finger.

Don't feel bad man, I have a mini A that I keep in my pocket for when I go out (work, to eat, etc) and I still can't OH for crap with it. I thought my fingers were too short but it's clearly not the problem. I'm just now able to do barely do a U :/

My main speedcube is an FII, but I still can't do a U (I do it w/my left hand). I find it easier to do U' in my right hand, but most of my algs are heavily right handed (although I find it quite easy to do mirror algs).
