I'm lack of being around this cubing community,so please tell me if my idea had already come out long ago.this new solution is when in the first step of yau,i left 1 of the 4 center piece of the opposite of the base colour center, and go on solving the 3 cross edge and the other 4 center. After that, the one unsolve cross edge and a opposite base center is remain, so put them into the right position and simply do rUr' to solve them both at once like in the Hoya method. What do u guys think?

I actually haven't heard of doing this before...nor have I thought about it. (I also anticipate this thread being moved elsewhere)

The problem that I see is that when doing centers you may have some center pieces on the opposite cross face, so you will have to rotate - to bring them into the middle layer - and do this whilst preserving the cross edges as well (which also hurts lookahead).

Alternatively, you could solve the opposite cross face with a mixture of the correct colour and one other colour (e.g. Yellow and Orange), which does save a bit of time during F2C. However, this puts a restriction on which centers you solve after cross edges, unless you have the final center solved with a mixture of the above mentioned colours (Yellow/orange) and then move them to the empty cross slot-thing to do hoya.

I will return with movecounts.

Hmm。。。the main idea is just like doing a rUr',and you can see a last cross edge and a center remain unsolve, after doing rU'r',you can see the edge and the center solved at once.Sorry for my poor english presantation.
