I was wondering if scrambling a cube with only 2's (U2, F2, etc.) and solving it that way has ever been done by someone, are there methods/algs, does it exist? I came up with it by scrambling my cube like a floppy, which is very easy. But scrambling it this way makes it a lot harder and more fun :D

I take it a step further. I mix it without looking using half turns, the do exactly one quarter turn, then more half turns. Next, I solve it by allowing nothing but half turns -- except just one quarter turn. Ideally, I like to save that single quarter turn as my final move.

I just tried this; it's actually very interesting! Give it a try if you want a bit more of a challenge.

Are there particular methods to solve it? Or do you guys just use intuition? Also, sometimes I get in a situation that would normally be solved by doing U2 M' U2 M. Does anyone know how to do it using 2-turns?
