Hello everyone :)
My name is P17RK - or with my real name: Philipp.
Im from Germany :) and Im 18years old !
Even though I lived in NZ for pretty much a year - my english isnt perfect...but I hope and think you guys can understand me :) !!

I first picked up a Rubiks Cube probably about 3-4years ago..a friend of mine and the internet helped me achieving the challenge of how to solve a Rubiks Cube quite easily!! And I wasnt too bad either - avarage about one minute...

But then - like every teenager - I lost the joy of doing it...so I didnt touch a cube for years...until about 2months ago...
And yea...thats where Im now :)

Im really obsessed with my cube now...I wanted to get faster - and of course I needed to learn a new method^^ so I did!
I looked at Petrus, Roux and ZZ!! "What about Fridrich?" are heaps of people thinking now.. yea - even though Im just a "beginner" in the learning process - I just cant build a relationship with Fridrich!! Maybe Im wrong - maybe its "my" method...I cant deny that some skills can come quite handy though - no doubt aboout that!! But at the moment Im really happy with learning Roux! Its so much fun!
ZZ got some really interesting things and skills as well!! That would be my next goal - learning ZZ!! Even though I probably would do a classic OLL/PLL for the last layer as in CFOP...but as I said - at the moment I just dont wanna learn it :D

Anyway...I wouldnt consider myself as a speedcuber at the moment... Im just so keen on getting faster and learning new things!!
One of the things, apart from learning myself is teaching and explaining others how to solve the cube - even though its just the basics - but all of my "students" learned it fast and said I explained very well...so Im thinking of getting a youtube and make tutorials - I know theres a lot of them - but I might give it a go .. ;)
By the way - Im using a classic Rubiks at the moment...but Im gonna buy a new cube soon! Any suggestions?
At the moment Im thinking about getting a FangShi (Funs) ShuangRen V2...

Yea - thats me :)

Welcome Phillip! Your English is very good actually. Roux is a very fun method, I wish I would've learned it as a beginner. I think that a ShuangRen would be pretty good for what you are averaging. I've heard that it has very good M slices. I would recommend checking out some Moyu cubes as well though.

Yes roux is the best. Keep learning roux, you won't regret it. Those other methods are ok, but roux is the bestest of the best and it's the best. So keep learning roux because it's the best. :) :) :) :p

Fangshi is a good cube, not too fast, very quiet. I'd recommend dayan over moyu when you're faster, but that's just me.

o and welcome to the forum or whatever.

Welcome! I suggest keep playing with methods and see which one appeals to you the most. I am also a Roux guy. I have quite a few Roux vids up, so if you have time, check them out :)

Try "learning" all of the methods and using them for a while. Your favorite one will come to you!
