Hello all, im Mixalhs from greece and nice to meet you here, im a cube fan but i have only a 2x2, a 3x3 and a 5x5, but i have solved none of them. Im very close to solve the 2x2.

I wish i will someday get more cubes and i hope to feed your community!

I would generally recommend youtube tutorials, such as the ones of badmephisto, Dan Brown etc.

These printed guides are great, there's no doubt, but I think its way easier to understand everything if you can SEE what you should do to get the point!

Of course not, i dont even know how to solve the 3x3!

My 3x3 Is original 198x

Hey, if you want to learn how to solve 2x2-5x5, take a look at this tutorial.

i recommend badmephisto's youtube videos and his website for the 3x3.

You people make me sick. Did he even *hint* at wanting help? No. In case he wanted to solve his puzzles on his own, I hope he'll still stick to it despite your eager attempts to show off your knowledge and to lure him into giving up.

I agree with Stefan. Everyone has the right to attempt solving the cube by themself. No need to push him for tutorials if he might be able to solve it with his own current knowledge of puzzles.

@stefan: out of curiosity, did you ever solve the cube by yourself? I'm just curious.

The 3x3x3? I don't remember, but probably not. I think my parents gave me a solution pretty soon after the cube (if not at the same time), and being your typical dumb 6-year-old, I probably took everything I could get and didn't try to solve it myself anymore. Now that I know how easy it is, it makes me sad. And I don't like others unnecessarily suffering the same. I do know I solved the clock on my own and a few other puzzles as well, but also learned solutions for some. I'm fairly proud of having solved some on my own, and regret having learned solutions for others before solving them on my own. These days I always solve new puzzles on my own at first, though with my accumulated knowledge and understanding they're mostly easy and the excitement isn't really there anymore. Bottom line is, you only have one chance to do it on your own and feel good about it. As soon as you get help, you've lost that chance. And some people even try to steal that chance from newbies by pushing solutions onto them.

The only puzzles that I ever solved intuitively were the megaminx, the pyraminx, 5x5, 6x6, and 7x7... although I can really only take credit for the pyraminx as the megaminx is very similar to a 3x3.. The 5x5, 6x6, and 7x7 are also difficult to count as they use the same principle as the 4x4 which I used a tutorial for.
