Then Comp was announced yesterday and will have about 1600 competitors.

Qualifications Not announced yet

This is a thread to discuss about the comp and see if anyone is planning to go. I will finally be going since it is in Europe and only a 1 hour 30 minute flight

I think the competitor limit will stay at 1600 as 2000 is quite a lot but we will find out soon

I know that it is a long way away till 2027, but considering that bids are already being made for places, I thought why not start the thread.

Today, SveKub has very exciting news to share with you all.
Sweden will submit an application to host the WCA World Championship in 2027!

We plan to be able to welcome 2000+ competitors from all over the world to a Swedish city in July 2027, to settle for the biggest titles in Speedcubing.

We expect the application to be submitted in the spring...
