Mini Dayan+mf8

I got a problem with my mini dayan.(sorry for my english) The outer layers are very slow and tight. They don't cut corners very well. I make maybe 50 solves and it's still like that ps; I lubricate all cube inside.

Is modification necessary? Or it just have to breakin in? may correspond to only those who have Mini dayan+mf8

I have one aswell, and I don't think you can do anything about it, maybe try the mod of its big brother...
My main is a Shengshou 4x4 VIII, for 10 bucks, it's a awesome cube.

Try loosening it if you haven't yet, and more lubrication if you haven't put enough in. And solving more always helps.

I have mini, I did about 100-150 solves, put a lot of lubix(including lubing the 2x2 core), but outer are still slow. I think only some big modification can save it.
Now I use SS V3.

Yaa, mines the same way. I have modded it A LOT and it's still not very good (Bit better). To make it a bit better, lube with Lubix (2x2 core), outer shell things with shock oil, then assemble and douse the thing in Jig-a-Loo. Now it's really smooth, but still slow.

We bought some and were excited about them, but we ran into the same problems, the cubes have slightly different molds from the regular MF8 4x4's the corners fins are much larger by ratio.

Basically it would take a TON of modding to accomplish anything with that cube, even then we are skeptical.

What do you mean by we?
I agree in the sense that modding it wouldn't even be worth it. Plus, 51MoreFun sells a modded version. So maybe if someone buys it and tells us if it's good...

Lol, your 12 and you have a phone?! I'm 15 and I don't even have one! (My mom works for the largest phone provider in the prairie provences)....
anyway, I think it's like $33 or something dumb like that.

We as in Lubix.

Donovan and I run Lubix together, I always complain that all the 4x4 that are out suck, and he saw that MF8 was coming out with a mini (which excited me a lot)

We got the cubes in and he spent a week breaking it in constantly, and Patrick Kelly even spent some time with the cube, didn't matter.

The extra size on the fins makes them fees really weird on the outer layers when the internal layers actually feel pretty dang good.

I still am on the search for a 4x4 that i really enjoy and like cubing with. I liked my mini QJ a lot for a long time, but it is just too square.

Hopefully a god one will come out sooner than later.
