So they changed the video gallery to have official solves... So I guess I'll put this here, maybe I can get tips from pros...

It was a great competition, I definitely didn't do my best (I was nervous) but I did alright in 3x3x3.

Hey Michael, glad you were able to make it to your first competition here. A shame you missed the second round of 3x3x3, that average must have been painfully close to the cutoff. Sadly, I don't have much specific advice to give you since I can't really see much with the camera so far away. Just keep practicing, and I hope to see you at a future Ann Arbor competition!

Thanks! I had originally made it to round two but a few people showed up late and were allowed to compete- this pushed me off the qualified list. After adding them in I was less than 6 tenths of a second away from progressing to round two. xD Not a big deal to me though, I know I'm not fast yet I'll be there in a few years!
