MGC Square-1, fast D layer

I got an MGC Square-1 the other day, and the D layer is just too fast. One flick can easily do a D4. I've already tried to put weight 5 in, but it ends up mixing with the U layer pieces and ends up being fast again.
Any help would be appreciated

Idk man I got it too and have the same problem. It's kinda gone away now though. How much solves or use have you put into it? Maybe it's just not broken into.

You need to disassemble it, and then lube it with weight 5 (or whatever slow lube you use)
You can watch Cube master's tutorial on how to setup the mgc sq1

After assembling it, tighten it
