So, mf8 has apparently made a follow up to the Legend, simply called Legend II. It seems to be pretty good, at corner cutting at least, and instead of stickers, it has the same type of tiles that we've seen on a recently announced 2x2 (was it Fangshi?) The cube is now up for preorder at HK Now Store, and costs 14 bucks. http://www.hknowstore.com/locale/en...baae-4d52-b859-e032bd60cfb3&corpname=nowstore

What do you think, will the new Legend have what it takes among the modern 3x3's? Personally I think they have a chance, mf8 makes good puzzles in other areas, and now that DaYan isn't the goto for everyone anymore, I believe a lot more people would give it a chance. But I don't know about the tiles, it sure is legally stickerless, but they better produce different shades.

Cube seems to be flimsy, clunky, and not very stable, but hope it's not ;)
Reminds me in sound about Alpcha Chun 1 without steel plates.

We'll see - I'm quite curious about this cube, and I will wait for some other videos about it :)

It does look flimsy, and I really don't like the sound of it (although with the Huanying, sound is definitely not everything). I also do not like those tiles though, not at all.

Why do they have someone who isn't a decent cuber do these initial promo videos? Put it in the hands of someone with some skill so we can actually see what it's capable of.

It sounds and looks just like the Younkee 3x3 - a flimsy and explosion-prone cube that I really dislike. I don't think I will get it (because to me, sound matters a lot - the downfall of the Huanying cube imo) I would definitely wait for some reviews first (if any of you are considering it) but unless it becomes the next Fangshi, I probably won't consider getting it

The way I hope it is, is a non-popping, reverse cutting Legend 1. However I expect it might be quite different, it looks crunchier indeed which I don't actually mind, but I really just hope it'll have the same kind of speed as the old one as I have a thing for really, really fast cubes.

Bump, but whatever. The cube has been out for a while, judging from the previews and CBC's review, it seems like a pretty good cube, especially with the ball core. I have one coming in, hopefully by next week, and will do an unboxing as well as a review.
