MeiYing Catching/Locking Frequently??

I love this cube, great speed, no popping or corner twists and amazing corner cutting. However, this cube locks like crazy on any tension with or without lubrication. Have any MeiYing owners find a solution to this or can someone point me in the direction of another cube that is similar but doesn't catch as much?

mine dosent lock how fast are you maybe you have a rought turning style have you tried any other cubes i think the gts has a similar feeling but try it at a comp first

I am fairly new to cubing and average sub 40 rn. I have read various posts regarding this issue and a lot of people have stated that it does have stability issues and flexes quite frequently but haven't stated a way around this. This is my first cube before the Rubik's brand but i have had it for almost 6 months and these issues still persist. I found myself having trouble executing algs that others can because the cube locks halfway through a turn. I do believe i have rough turning style though. As a noob what would u recommend I do to improve turning accuracy?

Well It could be tensioned unevenly, That would cause catchings. My meiying isn't that locky to me. If it is turning accuracy, maybe try practicing something like 4x4 or 5x5 (if you have one).

Thanks for the reply. Are you able to point me in the direction for guide that explains how to tension the cube evenly?
