Megaminx Colorblind Stickers

Hello,

I'm new to this forum, though I've been cubing for quite a while (I'm still not the fastest, though). I'm interested in purchasing a megaminx, but it seems that I can't find a suitable color scheme. I've searched for other threads dealing with the same topic, however none dealt directly with a megaminx. I experience protanopia, a type of red-green colorblindness. Currently, my potential color scheme is as follows (according to the Cubicle stickers):

White/Fluro Yellow
Red/Fluro Orange
Light Green/Fluro Blue
Fluro Pink/Light Purple
Light Brown/Light Grey
Black/Aqua

However, this is far from ideal. Aqua, light purple, and fluro blue all seem very similar to me, while aqua and grey are also similar. I cannot choose a darker blue, since then it would be too similar to green (causing a need for a lighter green), but I cannot choose a lighter green since then it would be too similar to fluro orange.

Any ideas?

how about gold/silver and maybe cream instead of grey? golden yellow and fluro yellow are a lot different

Hey. I have the same problem, although I'm colorblind to different colors. What I did for megaminx was buy the sticker shade guide from the cubicle and pic out the 12 most distinguishable colors, to me. I don't know if you want to spend the money on this, but thats what I did, so yeah

Well, I have purchased a color chart from the Cubicle, and am currently trying to decide on a color scheme. The colors appear a lot different in person than they do on a computer screen. I'll most likely end up needing to use Gold/Silver as a combo as well as White/Black. As for the glitter, I'm not sure if that's WCA legal, or man-card legal

Great! Thats why I recommended getting the sticker thing, because they definitely look different in real life and I didnt want you to end up getting something that looks too similar. Happy cubing!

you could try Chrome or Mosaic cubesmith stickers, but they have to be the same texture as all the other stickers if you have a dayan megaminx, you could have some of the sides have white pieces instead of black or the opposite. I don't think that would be wca legal though (I think it should be).
