Finally Maskow's ER is broken.

How long was Maskow's ER reign? from 2013?

[tx789]

That took a while

He got the ER in 2012, and the WR in 2013. So the ER reign was from 2012.

9 whole years... Damn.

This may be an unpopular opinion, or maybe not, but I think mbld is the most impressive cubing achievement. Especially for someone who doesn't know the methods (I do for the most part), it just seems insane.

[Megaminx lover]

congrats.
Also petition to remove the 1 hour time limit or extend it to 3 hours or something

[kubesolver]

3h is unreasonable. I think allowing 1 minute pet cube should be allowed though (so 100 minutes for a 100 cubes attempt at discretion of an organizer).

I feel like Bober is gonna be the next Maskow but there are more contenders for that like Graham and Rowe.

anyway, congrats to him!!

there have been unofficial events for 24h which is kinda pushing solver's health

Yes MBLD is heating up for sure! It took a decade to heat up, but its understandable considering how complex the event is at the highest level.
