[Unofficial] Maxim Chechnev on "Ukraine's Got Talent" show. Final.

youre right, youre right. i just assumed that he did it to get on tv or win an unnecessary amount of money. never once did i think that he might actually really need the money. i guess i was just kindof blinded by my outrage toward the situation. sorry for calling you greedy and sorry to maskow aswell.

I couldn't resign before the final round and I couldn't do anything what wasn't approved by director.
It wasn't because I needed the money, I was there for fun, I knew that I wouldn't win. I did it because of penalty: 20k PLN, ~6200 dollars, I signed it before the second round, I didn't think that I would get to the final and I didn't believe that they can force me to do anything.

I never was really happy because of my participate in this show. Never. But should I cry?
TV lies, it's nothing new. It's a one big manipulation, I did a regular blindfold solve in first round and they took 3 other videos of my solves and mix them all! ^^

Yeah I saw that the first one looked weird. It's a shame that they did that to you.
But hey, you tried your best. : 3

That was pretty great. Did you bring your own costume?

Yeah, it wasn't real, but TV is just entertainment. Even documentaries these days have similar production to thrillers and dramas, putting appeal before accuracy. Same can be said for news channels. With Maxim it was so over the top, and if you tell people he can't really do any of that stuff, or even close to it, it looks very bad.

I don't really care in this case that it was staged because the solver is legit. If I do a blind solve and someone says they saw a crazy looking guy in a lab coat do that with two cubes behind his back at the same time, I would say that was just TV magic, see him at DarkMaskow on YouTube for some really impressive stuff like solving dozens of $&@%ing cubes in a row blindfolded. Can't really do the same with Maxim.
