Maybe 3x3 but no one is even close to feliks in 5x59 WRs*, but to be fair Max has potential to break the 3x3 WRs and maybe even the 5x5 WRs. But there's tons of 3x3 and 4x4 solvers who have WR potential so Max isn't too special.

No but they are closing in, its not gonna happen tomorrow but more and more people are approaching Feliks level.Maybe 3x3 but no one is even close to Feliks in 5x5
10 WRs, both single and average for 3 and 5-7, and single for 4 and OH.9 WRs
I said it is the beginning of the end, not the end of the end.Having only 8 WR definitely mean he's done
What cubes?

Last time I checked (2 minutes ago) 3 non-Felikses had sub 54 averages. It's not super close but just becuase Feliks used to be superior doesn't mean that trend will go on forever. Since the beginning of 2016 Feliks has shaved down his Avg by 1.6%. In the same timeperiod Kevin has decreased his times by 6.5%, Max has decreased his times by 11.2%, Yi-fan Wu by 9.7% and so on. Feliks is the only one with a sub50 avg but he's also been the only one with a sub7 3x3 for years but lots of people have achieved that this year."closing in" on 5x5?!? Do you have some alternative facts?
This is the WR history for 5x5:

Thanks!I am going to guess QiYi MoFangGe WuQue 4x4x4 Magnetic. Reasons for that guess:
- one week before setting this world record, he uploaded video containing the same cube brand
- one youtube commentator (Schwan Park) said "WuQue M from Cubicle"
